Admire the ornate Khoo Kongsi clan house and take a moment to savor the flavors of Penang at a local coffee shop. Conclude your tour with a photo stop at Fort Cornwallis, a historic landmark marking Penang’s colonial beginning.

After breakfast, meet with your driver and set-off for the iconic Kek Lok Si Temple. Walk around this majestic Buddhist-Taoist temple and admire the 10,000 Buddha Pagodas and the Tortoise Pond of Longevity. The Goddess of Mercy Pavilion shelters a gigantic statue of Kuan Yi.
After the temple, continue with your driver to Penang Hill, a beautiful landscape sitting 830 meters above sea level. Take the Swiss funicular railway to the top. The train will pass through hill farms and lush tropical jungles, affording a breathtaking view of Penang and the mainland Province of Wellesley.

The resort offers a wide variety of experiences and the main attraction is the conservation area called Orang Utan Island, the only such area in Peninsular Malaysia. This unique ECO Park has educational walk-in enclosures, where you can interact with some (friendly) animals.

- Penang Countryside Cycling Tour (Join In) | Tour Start 7:00 AM Duration: 4.5 Hours
After breakfast, you will be transferred with your group to the starting point. Upon arrival, begin your guided cycling tour and explore the hidden charms of Balik Pulau’s life. Balik Pulau, translating as “the back of the island”, is a beautiful, small town on the other side on the other side of Penang Island. Cycle along a network of routes through paddy fields, fruit orchards, plantations, mangroves, fishing villages, and dozens of traditional kampungs.
After the program, you will be transferred back to your hotel with your group.
NOTE: Participants are required to have riding experience and be able to ride at least a 24” bicycle. Standard bicycle used for tour participants is 26” MTB. A helmet will be provided upon request.
