Kuala Selangor is a 90-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur and offers so much to discover, especially to those who wish to take a peek at Malaysian rural life. Fishing and farming are the main occupations here and a large part of the area is cultivated with oil palm and rubber. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided visit to a Chinese fishing village. Then, tuck into a sumptuous Chinese seafood dinner followed by, the highlight of the evening, watching fireflies. Aboard a boat as you are rowed upstream to view thousands of fireflies flickering like Christmas lights in the mangrove trees lining the blanks of the river. After this remarkable spectacle, transfer by car back to the city.
